OUr Story
Growing up in neighboring Central American countries, the founders of I THIRST saw first-hand the need for clean water. After years of working with non-profit water organizations, they founded their very own non-profit, I THIRST International, in 2009. Pairing a construction background with training in hygiene and sanitation, this duo has enlisted the help of those around them, growing the organization and expanding ripples of hope. Since its founding in 2009, I THIRST has facilitated several projects, providing access to clean water and improved the quality of life of thousands across four continents.
OUR MISSION
I Thirst exists to bring hope for the vulnerable, exploited, and forgotten. In order to restore things back to how the Creator had intended things to be and for the people we serve to experience the transformative love of God, we will:
1. Go out into the world
2. Be Nimble and mobile
3. Empower women at risk
4. Decrease poverty
5. Respect and honor culture
